SCEI Celebrates 50 Years!
| If only Jim could only see y'all now!!! So many of you have grown leaps and bounds in your faith, and it has been very encouraging to us here at SCEI. We get refueled with joy and strength in the Lord because He has allowed us to see the reaping of His work. How amazing is our God to see Him accomplish so much through us all. For example, assisting David Zelaya grow his church from seven people under a mango tree to hundreds of members today reaching thousands in Nicaragua; Sin Cadenas and the impact it has made through it's music ministry both by impacting the spiritual growth of individuals and nurchuring churches in the USA and Latin America; followup throughout the world by our new website called BuscandoLaVerdad.com which includes Bible studies, video and audio sermons from Spanish speaking pastors, with an assisting directory of local churches in many cities throughout seven different countries; and reaching our friends and family at home through a softball tournament. These works which together we have seen and done have been a part of the plan of God from the beginning. Friends, since 1960 God has always continued to work through SCEI even through difficult economical times. No matter what happens we know that God's grace is sufficient. Through our weakness we are reminded “To God be the Glory”, and so again we wait patiently as we watch Him miraculously carry SCEI and other Christians through a difficult financial drought. If we step back from our fast pace life and listen to the word of God we will see His world plan unfold through the conditions that He creates. We do not always understand or know His ways, therefore trusting in Him for our needs is the only thing we will do. Math 6:31-33. We want to thank you for the good work you have done and are doing for God's Kingdom. Diane |
